LOS ANGELES (CNN) - The major United States airlines and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) have assured people that it should be perfectly safe to take commercial flights on and around New Year's Day. But what about the smaller aircraft that make up general aviation in the country?
There are almost 200,000 small, privately owned aircraft in the American skies -- sometimes flown for business, sometimes for pleasure. CNN's Charles Feldman looks at the caveats and reassurances pilots are hearing about potential Y2K problems.
