Book fondly recalls 'mental hygiene' films

NEW YORK (CNN) -- In earlier generations, long before there was an Internet with "how to" sites, millions of Americans learned some of life's most important lessons by watching instructional movies in high school.
They were called "mental hygiene" films, with subjects that let young people know, among other things, the right way -- and wrong way -- to behave on a date. And with titles like "Body Care and Grooming," and "Mind Your Manners," you'll surely want to watch. Again?
