Fun stuff for fun times
(CNN) -- Sure, novels are neat and non-fiction is fine, but sometimes you just want to have some fun with a book. That's where these come in:
The archives of Graceland were auctioned in 1999, but the Elvis fan in your family can see archives of the more than 2,000 pieces of memorabilia in

The catalogue includes more than 300 photographs of Elvis property, from his credit cards to his car and piano.
Superman first landed on the planet Earth in 1938. As a champion of the downtrodden and oppressed, his principles and virtues reflected the imaginations of his two teen-age creators and the Depression-era world in which they lived. "The Superman Masterpiece Edition" from Chronicle Books is a fascinating tribute to the rise of the world’s first, greatest, and most-loved super hero. The package features astatue of Superman, an accurately sized, color reprint of the first issue of the first Superman comic book from 1939, and an illustrated, color hardcover book detailing Superman’s Golden Age.
The book "African Beads: A Book and Craft Kit" by Elizabeth Bigham lets children and adults discover what beads mean to African cultures. Explore how they have been used by the Yoruba, Maasai, Bamileke, Kuba, Zulu, and Ndebele. The book includes instructions and materials for 10 beadwork projects, along with a cardboard easel-back frame and a cardboard tray that can be used as a loom for weaving. The book/kit is published by The Metropolitan Museum of Art, through Simon & Schuster.
Helen Oxenbury says that she enjoyed "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" when her mother read it to her as a child. Now the award-winning book illustrator has made Alice a modern child to accompany the original Lewis Carroll text in this Candlewick Press edition.
