Video: McCain's message to GOP -- change is good

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The message of former GOP presidential hopeful John McCain -- the maverick Arizona senator who appealed to independents, moderates and Democrats -- was that the Republican Party needed to embrace change in order to recapture the White House.
Now Texas Gov. George W. Bush is trying his best to appeal to those voters who heard McCain loud and clear during the short primary season.
But will Bush pull it off?
If he doesn't -- and Vice President Al Gore wins the presidency in November -- McCain will be perfectly positioned to offer an 'I told you so,' according to CNN senior political analyst Bill Schneider.
