Jews express pride, fear of prejudice with Lieberman on Gore ticket
MIAMI (CNN) -- Sen. Joseph Lieberman says being chosen for the number two slot on the Democratic presidential ticket fulfills his parents' promise that "you don't have to be like everybody else to make it in America."
As the first Jew to run for vice president with a major U.S. party, the senator is seen as a groundbreaking choice for the post.
