Video: Democratic hopes for House lie in key states

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Republicans head into the election with an 11-seat majority in the U.S. House of Representatives, but they have been losing House seats in recent elections. They also have 25 open seats to defend, to the Democrats' 10.

Contests in California, Washington and Florida will go a long way in determining whether Republicans retain control or whether Democratic leader Dick Gephardt becomes speaker next year. CNN's Chris Black has the story.
