Web posted at: 7:41 AM HKT (2341 GMT)

SYDNEY (Reuters) -- An amusement ride in Australia collapsed and fell about eight metres (28 feet), injuring at least 37 people, radio reported on Sunday.

The incident occurred late Saturday at the Royal Adelaide Show in South Australia state. Australian Broadcasting Corp said a bolt was believed to have come loose from the ride, called "Spin Dragon" and consisting of two rotating arms.

Three of the injured were in "very serious condition" at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, it said.
