| SIA crash wreckage yields daughter's last message
SINGAPORE (Reuters) -- A flight attendant killed in last weeks fiery Singapore Airlines crash in Taiwan left a written message telling her parents and family how much she loved them, the Straits Times newspaper said on Wednesday.
Goh Boon Hwee, 26, had carried the note every time she flew since surviving a major earthquake in Taiwan last year, the paper said. "I'm so sorry I can't tell you face to face that you're the best father one could ever have," she wrote in the note found by investigators in the wreckage of the SIA Boeing 747-400 which crashed on October 31, killing 82 of the 179 people aboard. Goh also expressed love and appreciation for her mother, while encouraging her younger sister to study hard. "Though we always quarrel, I care for you a lot," she wrote. "We have high hopes for you... When you grow up, make sure you find someone who loves you a lot." Copyright 2000 Reuters. All rights reserved.
