| Italian foreign minister to visit China
ROME, Italy (Reuters) -- Italian Foreign Minister Lamberto Dini will visit Beijing and Hong Kong from Monday to Wednesday, capping a year of development in diplomatic relations with China, Dini's office said on Sunday. A detailed schedule of the visit, which follows that of Chinese Prime Minister Zhu Rongji to Italy in July, was not yet available. Over the past few months, Italian Industry Minister Enrico Letta, Environment Minister Willer Bordon and Lower House Speaker Luciano Violante have visited China on separate trips. The Foreign Ministry said Dini's visit was also to be viewed in the context of Italy's presidency of the Group of Seven most industrialized nations group next year and of China's talks to enter the World Trade Organization (WTO).
