Web posted at: 5:23 PM HKT (0923 GMT)

NEW DELHI, India (Reuters) -- At least 15 people were feared dead on Friday when a live electricity cable fell on their bus in the eastern Indian state of Bihar, United News of India said.

UNI said a 11,000-volt electricity wire fell on the bus in Vaishali district of Bihar, India's second-most populous state.

The news agency quoted Vaishali district magistrate Gautam Goswami as saying that the bus was packed to capacity.

No other details were immediately available, UNI said.
