Inside Boston's biotech conference

BOSTON (CNN) -- More than 2,000 demonstrators concerned about the science of mapping and manipulating the genes of plants and animals have gathered this week to protest at the largest gathering of biotechnologists ever.

The BIO 2000 International Conference & Exhibition hosts more than 7,000 scientists and business people representing 770 companies from around the world. CNN Boston Bureau Chief Bill Delaney reports.
