| Flu shots to come later than plannedATLANTA, Georgia (CNN) -- It usually happens like clockwork: At the end of September, doctors start telling their patients to get a flu shot. But the timetable is running a little behind this year.
Vaccine manufacturers had trouble growing one of the flu strains needed to make this year's vaccine, so many doctors, hospitals and clinics haven't yet received their doses. Although delivery is expected by November, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is concerned there may not be enough vaccine to go around. The agency is convening a meeting next week to discuss contingency plans. CNN Medical Correspondent Elizabeth Cohen has more information on who needs to be vaccinated, and how the vaccine delay could affect you.
