U.S. Supreme Court a mystery to many Americans
(CNN) -- The U.S. Supreme Court is one of the country's most important institutions, with the power to overrule laws passed by the federal government and the states. Justices are appointed to the court for life, giving them a role in shaping public policy long after the presidents who appoint them leave office. Greta Van Susteren reports that even though the court has a major influence over everyday life, most people do not know much about it.
