Wu-Tang Clan back together for 'jump off'
LOS ANGELES, California -- They may be short one member, but the Clan is back. The rap group Wu-Tang Clan is together again after three years, with "The W," its latest album. Band members were in Los Angeles recently to shoot a video for the new LP. ODB, however, was not present. The performer, also known as Ol' Dirty Bastard, was arrested Monday in Philadelphia on arrest warrants from New York and California, The first video from the new album is "Protecting Ya Neck - The Jump Off." The phrase "jump off" means that "something is exciting is about to happen," explains band member the RZA. The phrase describes the Clan's reunion for the new record, he says. The band has never officially been apart; for the past three years, members of the band have been busy with solo projects as well as an array of business ventures, which include Wu-Tang Clan comic books, video games and a clothing line.
