Dolce & Gabbana: Puttin' on the glitz

MILAN, Italy (CNN) -- Dolce & Gabbana's collection is glamorous, flashy and colorful for fall/winter 2000. The line of clothing reflects those sentiments.

Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have brought back the maxi coat with slits, pant suits with narrow banded legs and snappily tailored jackets for the cooler months. The designers are emphasizing fuchsia, orange, yellow and violet tones to energize the outfits. Their apparel comes in floral, tiger and -- Dolce's favorite -- leopard prints.

Eveningwear is replete with pleats, using chiffon to create sensuous pants and flowing dresses. The duo also designed three dresses for formal nights out and focused on separates for more-casual affairs.

For accessories, Dolce & Gabbana focuses on bejeweled berets, small metal handbags, low-slung belts, large hoop earrings and shoes with floral brocade.
