Pokemon invades the PC with new Web browser

GameProWorld

(IDG) -- Moving the Pokemon world take-over one step further, Nintendo of America and MediaBrowser are releasing the first ever Pokemon Internet Browser. Your PC can now be part of the Pokemon universe.

Pokemon trainers can now browse with their favorite Pokemon characters. The new Internet browser is available for free at www.pokemon.com and a floating desktop design featuring Pokemon Gold and Silver is on display. A free CD-ROM version of the Pokemon Internet Browser can also be ordered through the web site.

MediaBrowser also released a Mario Tennis Browser this month, available at www.mariotennis.com and is developing additional Nintendo custom browsers for release later this year and early 2001 with themes like Legend of Zelda, Nintendo Power, and Paper Mario.
