Ariane to launch satellite for Europe
KOUROU, French Guiana (Reuters) -- The 133rd Ariane rocket is due to blast off from French Guiana on Wednesday carrying a Eutelsat communication satellite for western Europe, Western Europe's launch company, Arianespace, said.
The launch is due between 7.33 and 8.47 p.m. (2233 and 2347 GMT) from the European Space Agency launchpad in Kourou.
On board the Ariane-4 rocket will be Eutelsat's W1 satellite due to provide multimedia services for Europe.
Two more Ariane rockets are due to take off this month, one of them a new generation Ariane-5 rocket on September 14.
