(CNN) -- What do they do with free time? Do they have anything planned for the holidays? Do they look out the window a lot?

The first residents of the international space station answer these questions and more in an exclusive interview with CNN Space Correspondent Miles O'Brien.

U.S. commander Bill Shepherd and his Russian crewmates Yuri Gidzenko and Sergei Krikalev have put in long hours sprucing up their home since they arrived six weeks ago.

They have plumbed a toilet, installed a treadmill and fixed an air conditioner in the most expensive habitat in history.

The trio took time out from their busy schedule this week for a long chat with Miles O'Brien, who launched a variety of questions including many that CNN.com readers had sent via e-mail.

Join the crewmen in this CNN Webcast as they bob up and down in the orbiting outpost, opining on such diverse subjects as tourists in space, each other's body odor and the U.S. presidential election.
