Mountain boarding: The latest downhill sensation

(CNN) -- Think of it as snowboarding on wheels, or maybe surfing on dirt. It's mountainboarding, a seven-year-old sport that combines technology from biking, snowboarding and skateboarding.

Using a mountain board is a lot like riding a snowboard, except, as one enthusiast put it, it hurts a lot more when you fall.

Meet and watch some mountain boarding experts at a recent championship in Los Angeles.
