CNN's LOS ANGELES (CNN) -- Wander through the Greater Los Angeles Auto Show and you'll see plenty of vehicles coming soon to a dealer's showroom near you. But auto shows are also the place to catch the sometimes outrageous "concept" cars.
They're the futuristic visions of designers who may, or may not, have their fingers on the pulse of what the car-buying public wants.
