PHOENIX (CNN) - A minor hydraulic problem caused a TWA MD-80 to make an emergency landing Friday night at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, according to an unnamed airline representative Saturday.

The fault was repaired in about one-and-a-half hours and the aircraft with its 149 passengers continued to San Francisco.

"The plane landed without incident, however a 'tug' had to come out and tow it to a gate," said Suzanne Luber, an airport spokeswoman. No one on the flight was injured.

One passenger told CNN affiliate KSAZ that the pilot instructed them on how to remove a window if necessary.

The plane, which was scheduled to land in Phoenix, is the second MD-80 series plane to make an emergency landing at the airport in two weeks.

Concern about the MD-80 series jets is high after an Alaska Airline MD-80 crashed off southern California on January 31, killing all 88 people on board.
