CNN Havana Bureau Chief Lucia Newman follows the journey Juan Gonzalez has taken the past four months while trying to reunite with son Elian.(CNN) -- Elian Gonzalez's father stood in the doorway of the Bethesda, Maryland, house where he is staying and gave a thumbs-up sign just a few hours after U.S. Attorney General Janet Reno announced she expected the father and son to be quickly reunited.
