Marine plane carrying 18 crashes in Arizona

MARANA, Arizona (CNN) -- A Marine Corps aircraft carrying 18 people crashed during a training mission in Arizona, on Saturday night. There were no initial reports of survivors.

A spokesman for the Arizona Department of Public Safety told CNN the plane was attempting to land near Marana, Arizona when it crashed.

The MV-22 Osprey went nose-first into the ground.

The spokesman said they did not believe there were any survivors.
