WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Three toy companies are recalling some of their products following reports of babies and children injured by their use.

Twenty babies have been injured by Fisher-Price's Hop, Skip, Jumper activity seats, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said.

The injuries included head lacerations, bumps, bruises, scrapes and one dislocated tailbone, the commission said.

The jumper is a seat for babies that allows them to sit suspended in a doorway and use their feet to bounce up and down. Eighty of the jumpers' springs broke, the commission said.

Around 882,000 jumpers with model numbers 9144 and 9146 are being recalled.

The safety commission urged consumers to stop using the jumper seat immediately and said that Fisher-Price would provide a free repair kit.

Big Action Construction toys

Some 267,000 models of Big Action Construction toys are also being recalled by Fisher-Price.

The toy, a large construction set, features a bucket that can be raised by turning a crank. The 25-inch strap attached to that bucket poses a strangulation hazard, the commission said.

Fisher-Price said it received 16 reports of children wrapping the strap around their necks, and seven children received minor injuries.

The recall covers model number 72028 for the construction toy.

The commission advised consumers to cut off the strap and throw it away.

Fisher-Price will provide a free replacement crane and bucket with a new 12-inch strap, the commission said.

Fisher-Price has more information on the recall at its Web site at www.fisher-price.com.

Wiggle Waggle Caterpillar

A much smaller toy poses a choking hazard to children, the commission said.

The company Child Guidance is recalling 1 million of its Wiggle Waggle Caterpillar toys after the safety commission learned of one 5-month-old girl who choked to death on a ball attached to the product.

The commission said it had also received reports that two other children had started to choke on the toy.

The commission said parents should return the caterpillar to the company and will receive another toy of similar value.

More information is available at www.childguidance.net.

Stand Up 'N Play tables

Finally, Shelcore Inc. is recalling approximately 124,000 Stand Up 'N Play tables to replace mallets that resulted in injuries to one child.

The 13-month-old boy fell while teething on the mallet and suffered cuts in his throat when the mallet was removed.

Consumers should throw the mallet away, the commission said, and call Shelcore for a free replacement mallet at (800) 777- 0453.
