ODESSA, Texas (CNN) -- Some schools are looking for high-tech solutions to beef up security in the wake of the Columbine shootings.
A number of experts, however, say administrators fail to do their homework, which can result in too much money spent on systems that don't work.
CNN's Technology Correspondent Rick Lockridge looks at some of the high-tech possibilities and what security consultants advise.
