Quake reported near Anchorage, AlaskaANCHORAGE, Alaska (CNN) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.5 hit 25 miles north of Anchorage early Sunday morning, according to the West Coast & Alaska Tsunami Warning Center's Web site. The magnitude was not big enough to generate a tsunami, or tidal wave, according to the site. The quake was felt in Palmer, Eagle River, Knik, and Anchorage, about 1 a.m. local time (5 a.m. EDT). So far no damage or injuries were reported, said Helen Chambers, a dispatch supervisor for the Anchorage Police Department.
