Touching tales from the real MASH
The behind-the-lines heroes got together again -- 50 years after their exploits in the Mobile Army Surgical Hospital units in the Korean War began. Jackson Hole, Wyoming, was the setting for a reunion of the real, surviving Hawkeyes and Colonel Potters who were later immortalized in the TV show MASH. They said the real MASH did not have martini parties, but they did have the equivalent of a Hot Lips and a Frank Burns.
