Pedestrian tunnel caves in at Dulles Airport
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Part of a pedestrian tunnel under construction at Dulles International Airport caved in around 7 p.m. Wednesday, trapping a worker in the rubble, an airport spokesman said. Rescuers are working to free the worker, Dulles spokesman Tom Sullivan said. The underground walkway is intended to connect the airport's main terminal and Concourse B. Currently, passengers must take large "mobile lounges" to travel between the buildings. "The whole tunnel did not cave in, but I'm not sure how much of the tunnel did," Sullivan said.
