| Survey finds gas prices down by roughly a penny
LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) -- The price of a gallon of regular gasoline dipped by slightly more than a penny to $1.55 during the past two weeks, according to the Lundberg Report, a newsletter that surveys more than 10,000 gas stations across the country. Publisher Trilby Lundberg credited the decrease in prices at the pump to a dip in the price of crude oil. The survey was taken November 3. Prices were cheapest in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where a gallon of self-serve regular cost $1.34. They topped out in San Francisco, California, where the same gallon cost $1.93. Prices in Wilmington, Delaware, and Fargo, North Dakota, reflected the national average of $1.55. Here are some prices in other cities for a gallon of self-serve regular: Cincinnati, Ohio: $1.56 Dallas, Texas: $1.44 Boston, Massachusetts: $1.64 Miami, Florida: $1.54 Atlanta, Georgia: $1.39 Chicago, Illinois: $1.63 Los Angeles, California: $1.68 RELATED STORIES: Survey: Gas prices drop 3 cents in 2 weeks RELATED SITES: OPEC | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
