Gas prices take seasonal dip
LOS ANGELES (CNN) -- The price of filling up a car with gasoline dropped over the past two weeks, as the average price per gallon of self-service regular fell nearly two cents, according to the Lundberg Report, which surveys approximately 10,000 gas stations nationwide. The national average price of a gallon of self-service regular was $1.52 on December 1. Publisher Trilby Lundberg credited the drop with slightly lower crude oil prices and weaker demand for gasoline as people tend to drive less during cold months. The report listed Honolulu as the most expensive city in which to fill up, with an average price of $1.92 per gallon. Wichita, Kan. had the lowest pump price -- $1.32.
