| Morocco arrests two Africans over $1 million forgeriesRABAT, Morocco (Reuters) -- Moroccan police have arrested two Africans who they say were trying to sell forged U.S. dollar notes with a face value of $1 million, the official MAP news agency reported on Tuesday. The men were identified as Senegalese Mohamed Sy and Guinean Diallo Modisalio, who were arrested last week in the town of Mehdia, 30 km (20 miles) north of Rabat. Police also seized paper, computing systems and chemicals allegedly used for the counterfeiting at the home of the two men in the neighboring town of Kenitra. If found guilty, the two men face up to 25 years in jail, legal sources said. Copyright 2000 Reuters. All rights reserved. This material may not be published, broadcast, rewritten, or redistributed.
