A statement from the information ministry said Amelia Ward, former commerce and industry minister, will take over as planning and economic affairs minister. She will be replaced by Cora Peabody, previously head of the Liberia Business Association, bringing to four the number of women serving in Taylor's government. The former minister for planning and economic affairs, Lamin Kawah, will become Liberia's permanent U.N. representative.
