| Fireworks blast at Mexican army base kills fourMEXICO CITY (Reuters) -- Four soldiers were killed and another 17 injured when 1,300 pounds (600 kg) of fireworks seized from illegal manufacturers blew up at a Mexican army base, the Defense Ministry said on Tuesday. A ministry statement said the "pyrotechnic material" blew up late on Monday at a storage site at the 83rd Infantry Battalion base at La Boticaria, in the Gulf Coast state of Veracruz.
