Italian graffiti artists try to find a place under sun
January 26, 2000 TURIN, Italy (CNN) -- For some, it's a spray-painted mess, but this north Italian exhibit shows that graffiti is more than an eyesore on the wall. It explains graffiti's 30-year history, beginning with scrawls and personal logos from New York City in the 1970s. "There are no rules in our art," says Italian graffiti artist Riccardo.
