VIENNA (CNN) -- Everybody who is anybody in Vienna used to attend the annual opera ball, Austria's glittering answer to other countries' Mardi Gras.
But this year the gala evening fell victim to Haiderphobia. Ever since the right-wing Freedom Party, led at the time by Joerg Haider, joined Austria's coalition government last month, it seems nobody wants to dance.
CNN's Richard Blystone reports on events inside the opera house and a controversial figure who popped out of a limousine only to be dragged away by police.
