COOPERS HILL, England (CNN) -- Year after year, daredevils fling themselves down an English hillside in pursuit of a chunk of cheese. It's such a mad dash that some competitors have broken a limb on the wild ride down.

Skeptics may scoff, but there's a prize for the scramble.

Here's a hint: It goes great with crackers.
