| Grenades fired at NATO-led peacekeepers' building in BosniaSARAJEVO, Bosnia-Herzegovina (Reuters) -- Unknown attackers fired rocket-propelled grenades into a building housing NATO-led peacekeepers in eastern Bosnia on Tuesday, but there were no casualties, the peacekeepers said. The incident took place just outside the town of Zvornik in Bosnia's Serb republic near the border with Yugoslavia. "Because of solid force protection measures and because the soldiers took appropriate action there were no casualties," a spokesman for the NATO-led Stabilization Force (SFOR) told reporters, adding that the situation was now calm. "This clear attempt to murder SFOR peacekeepers violates not only the Dayton peace accord but challenges the basic rule of law in Zvornik," he said. Copyright 2000 Reuters. All rights reserved.
