| Gas bomb explodes outside Athens bankATHENS, Greece (Reuters) -- A makeshift gas bomb exploded outside a downtown Athens branch of EFG Eurobank on Saturday, causing minor damage to the bank but no injuries, the semi-official Athens News Agency said. The bomb was made up of six gas canisters and two containers of petrol. The blast caused damage to the bank's automatic teller machine and entrance. ANA said an unsigned proclamation was found at the site, claiming the attack was prompted by recent government attempts to deregulate the labor market. "This attack on the bank is the anarchists' contribution to dialogue on labor relations," it said. Copyright 2000 Reuters. All rights reserved.
