PARIS, France (Reuters) -- A British tour bus crashed in central France on Monday, killing one passenger and seriously injuring several others, a police spokesman said. The bus, carrying nearly 50 people, mostly children, crashed on the A71 motorway about 10 km (six miles) from Vierzon, close to the town of Bourges, police spokesman Jean-Pierre Smith said. "There were 48 children, there are six or seven seriously injured and one dead, apparently a child," he told LCI television. He added that the accident happened at 0620 local time (0420 GMT).
