| Former Royal aide charged with murder
LONDON, England -- Police have charged the Duchess of York's former personal assistant with the murder of her boyfriend. Jane Andrews was arrested on Wednesday after Thomas Cressman was found stabbed to death in his London home on Monday. "Jane Andrews, aged 33, a sales consultant... has been charged with the murder of Thomas Cressman on or before September 18," London's Scotland Yard police headquarters said in a statement on Saturday. She is due to appear at West London Magistrates Court on Monday. Andrews, who worked for Sarah Ferguson for nine years up to 1997, was tracked down by police to Cornwall, southwest England, where she was arrested. Cressman, a businessman, and Andrews had been together for around two years before his death. The Duchess of York said earlier that she was "deeply, deeply overwhelmed and very, very shocked" by the news of Cressman's death. Reuters contributed to this report.
