| Madonna buys London home -- in West EndLONDON, England (Reuters) -- Pop superstar Madonna, who marries British film director Guy Ritchie next week, has bought a six million pound ($8.80 million) home in London, Britain's top-selling Sun tabloid reported on Friday. The five-story Georgian terraced house, which has six bedrooms and five bathrooms, is in London's West End -- just minutes from some of the city's top shops in Oxford Street, the Sun said. The U.S. singer decided to buy the house after viewing it for a second time on Wednesday, the tabloid said. "I feel very comfortable in England. I feel safer. The more you come to a place the more you get to know it," she was quoted as saying. Madonna recently pulled out of a deal to buy a seven million pound house in London's trendy Notting Hill district after the news was leaked, the Sun said. She will marry Ritchie in Scotland next Friday in what is being billed as the show business wedding of the year. The ceremony will take place at Skibo Castle at Dornoch on Scotland's remote northeast coast. Earlier this week a British newspaper reported that film star Robert De Niro was buying a house in London, joining a growing influx of Hollywood stars into the British capital.
