| Prince William 'for Scottish university'LONDON (Reuters) -- Britain's Prince William has chosen Scotland's oldest university St Andrews to study for an honours degree, Britain's Daily Express reported. William, 18, son of heir-to-the-throne Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana, would study the history of art, the newspaper said. It said the prince made up his mind to attend St Andrews instead of Edinburgh University after a low-key visit to the town on Scotland's eastern coast. William would begin the four-year course after taking a year out to travel around Australia, the newspaper said. "People suspected he might choose to come here but it has now been confirmed. Everyone is looking forward to having the prince here and seeing him around the town," an unidentified university source was quoted as saying. Copyright 2000 Reuters. All rights reserved.
