| Arrest follows 'Madonna' christening
DORNOCH, Scotland (Reuters) -- Scottish police have arrested a man found in Dornach Cathedral shortly after pop superstar Madonna's baby son was christened. Police said the 51-year-old unemployed man from the south of England had been searched for weapons but none had been found. Asked if the man was a suspected stalker, police superintendent Jim Heddle said: "I can't say."
The man was arrested about an hour after the baptism of four-month-old Rocco, Madonna's son with husband-to-be film director Guy Ritchie. An array of other celebrities had attended the ceremony inside the 13th century cathedral, including Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow and rock star Sting. A spokesman at the Northern Constabulary headquarters in Inverness told CNN.com a report had been forwarded to the Procurator Fiscal who would decide what action to take. Copyright 2000 Reuters.
