| Danish bikers 'team up with immigrant gangs'COPENHAGEN, Denmark -- Police in Denmark say one of the country's main biker groups is teaming up with immigrant gangs to deal in drugs. They are said to be increasingly concerned about the relationship between the Bandidos bikers and criminal gangs of second-generation immigrants. Residents of Blaagaardgade in the Noerrebro district of Copenhagen told the Jyllands-Posten newspaper that the two groups openly sell drugs on the streets. They said the situation has prompted several confrontations between demonstrators and police who, according to residents, are unwilling to enter the area unless they are equipped with special gear and back-up. "We are let down by the police. When we call them, they tell us that they won't go into the area because they need armoured vehicles to move into Blaagaardgade," one told the newspaper. Denmark's other main biker group, Hell's Angels, does not appear to have similar links with the criminal gangs. RELATED SITE: CNN Denmark | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
