| U.S. ballots arrive in DenmarkCOPENHAGEN, Denmark (CNN) -- Two ballot papers for the U.S. presidential elections have turned up on the Danish island of Fyn, the newspaper Fyens Stiftstidende reported on Monday. The Kain family from the main city of Odense received the two absentee ballots along with some brochures they had requested from a company in the American state of Washington. At first they thought the envelopes contained additional advertising but when they opened one they found a vote paper in favour of George W. Bush. Both ballots were from Washington. One had been cast by information consultant Steven H. Forrest. He says he does not understand how his vote ended up in Denmark but he has no intention of pursuing the case. A call to the U.S. Embassy in Copenhagen failed to resolve the matter so the Kains are left with two votes that no-one seems to want, despite the closeness of the race to be the next American president.
