5 reported hurt in explosion in Israeli coastal city

JERUSALEM (CNN) -- Five people were reported injured in an explosion in the coastal city of Hadera in northern Israel. At least one one person was seriously injured, police said.
Police were treating the incident as a terrorist attack.
The area was roped off, as investigation into the incident began.

The explosion was reported in a trash can in downtown Hadera. The incident occurred outside a bank near the marketplace in downtown Hadera, the reports said.
