| At least 6 hurt as mortar fire rocks northwest Tehran
TEHRAN, Iran (CNN) -- At least three mortar rounds were fired in northwest Tehran on Monday, injuring at least six people, according to state news media. Iranian journalist Shirzad Bozorgmehr told CNN the explosions were heard at his office. The official news agency later said the mortars were fired at a cultural sports complex. "But apparently the target was a military complex which is close by," Bozorgmehr said. "No other details are available at this time." Bozorgmehr said the blast was similar to attacks by an Islamic organization based in Iraq that has long been an enemy of the Iranian regime.
