Prince Charles goes potty over wizard Harry
LONDON, England (Reuters) -- Prince Charles has revealed he is a big fan of the best-selling Harry Potter children's books, British media reported on Wednesday. The heir to the British throne told children at a London primary school that he loved the books but did not know if his sons, William and Harry, had read them. "It's such a good story, isn't it? It's great stuff, it really is," the Mirror newspaper quoted Charles as telling one child. An aide confirmed to reporters that Charles was an avid reader of the books by J. K. Rowling, which detail the adventures of an ordinary boy who finds out he is a wizard.
"He has a set of the Harry Potter tapes and has almost certainly read all the books," the Mirror quoted the aide as saying. Copyright 2000 Reuters. All rights reserved.
