Music on the webNEW YORK (CNNfn) - Listen.com connects Web sites, advertisers and consumers with online music. The site is adding a link to its service to controversial Napster. The Napster link was added to let users sample songs recommended by Listen.com. But Listen.com is partly funded by major record labels and most of them are not happy with Napster.
Leading Edge guest Sean Ryan, president of Listen.com, explains how the links works and what it allows users to do. "We do not search the site, what we do is offer them the type of information that is already legally available on our site," he said. Ryan also added that while his site does not get around the filtering which is on Napster, "we offer you what is legally available out there." RELATED SITES:
