NEW YORK (CNNfn) - The traffic in free music on the Web has boomed since last summer – no doubt causing the recording industry to worry more about compact disc sales. But online users often find that the downloaded files are faulty or have glitches.

Daniel Strickland, chief executive officer at FileFreedom.com, said there is a tool to help music fans, and it's called "SideKick." He joined CNNfn's Patricia Sabga on the N.E.W. Show with more on the free software.
